Former Liverpool midfielder Jamie Redknapp thinks Manchester United may have to wait another decade to win the top flight.

         “Red Devils” have changed again after the sacking of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, while waiting for a new manager, Michael Carrick will take charge of the team temporarily.

         With the current situation 12 points behind Chelsea, Redknapp sees United may take another 10 or 15 years to win the top-flight title again, just as Liverpool have to wait for a manager. Teams like Jürgen Klopp to end their 30-year wait

         “When you look at what Liverpool have – Klopp, Manchester City – Guardiola, Chelsea – Tuchel,” Redknapp told Sky Sports with Micah. Richards: “And you have a manager who manages Molde and Cardiff in one of the biggest clubs in the world.”

         “It’s not right You can hardly fight with one hand in this grand competition and never really feel like he’s the right fit. I said it was like shooting Bambi and that’s how it felt because it should have happened a long time ago.”

“I understand what Gary (Neville) said about (Antonio) Conte, but as you (Richards) said, Conte has won five of the last seven league titles.

         “Manchester United at this time is like any other team. They are in competitions that want to win and try to win titles.”

         “Before they got Sir Alex Ferguson, they hadn’t won for almost 30 years, Liverpool had been looking for a manager for 30 – 30 years that made them win the league. They didn’t have anyone until they got the best from Jürgen Klopp.”

         “Now for Manchester United it may be a long wait again. – It might take 10, 15 years.”
