Aston Villa boss Steven Gerrard is interest in bringing in former Rangers Borna Barisic as a left-back at Villa Park.

The Mirror reports that Barisic is a target for Gerrard. Who want to add to Aston Villa as a problematic left-back. And want to buy in the market in January.

Gerrard made his Aston Villa debut in a 2-0 win over Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday. With Matt Targett starting at left-back. But the former England midfielder and Liverpool legend needs more players in that position.
